What to expect
Each spot takes about a minute. Concentrated high frequency is delivered via a probe to dehydrate lesions on the skin.
This dehydration technique stimulates the healing cascade and resurfacing within the tiny wound.
Within a few days, a tiny scab will develop and then slough in the next 2-4 weeks.
A small acne-like pink spot will remain and will continue to blend out with your skin tone with proper care.
If you have just a handful of spots to treat, this can easily be added to the end of another scheduled service.
For larger areas please expect a series of treatments to achieve full, smooth, results.
Aftercare instructions
Feel free to ice the skin following treatment if is is feeling spicy.
Within a few days, a scab will form over anywhere that was touched with the probe. Be gentle cleansing and bathing while areas are still healing.
I will provide you with specific after care instructions during treatment.
Most importantly: no picking, don't allow scabs to get soggy from soaking in water, and use SPF.
Scabs will slough in 2-4 weeks depending on area of the body and many factors.
I will schedule you for a followup at 4 weeks to evaluate if retreatment is necessary
Treatment plan
Typically treatments are priced by number of lesions to be treated.
I then schedule a follow up four weeks later. If treated lesion needs a second treatment, we will retreat all lesions for one flat fee of $50.
If you have a larger area you want to treat, I suggest booking a consult so we can plan for your goals.
I may recommend spacing treatments into 2-4 sessions, four weeks apart.
Four weeks allows adequate healing time to any areas we previously treated so we can evaluate if re-treatment is necessary.
After your last session, we will schedule one final follow up and retreat anything necessary for a flat fee of $50.
Not sure which service to book?
I offer consultations to new clients for those who are unsure what their skin needs, or are looking to create a custom experience. Schedule a 30 minute consult with me to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and goals for treatment, and medical/ health history, if you are looking to schedule an initial meeting but you aren't quite ready to jump into a service.
I recommend all first time clients start with the First Time Experience service.
I will consult with you to identify your skin concerns and goals, followed by a 60 minute facial service.
I like to consult all new clients to understand how I can give you the best service possible. Expect this appointment to take about 90 minutes in total!
A Skin Analyzer session can be added to both the First Time Experience or my Consultation booking to give you an in-depth skin report and analysis of your skin's health, including pictures and product recommendations.
