Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation technique that results in glowy, bright skin!

Using a stainless steel blade, vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin are gently removed from the surface of your face and neck. 

You will be left looking dewy, bright, and smooth.

What is it?

Dermaplaning is a gentle physical exfoliation that removes the vellus hair and dead skin from the face and neck using a steel blade. 

This can be done as a standalone service or added to another service. 

Clients are often pleasantly surprised how gentle and relaxing dermaplaning is, and some even doze off during the service!

Who isn't a candidate for dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a great treatment for many different types of clients and skin types. 

Safe for those who are pregnant or nursing and those who cannot tolerate other types of physical or chemical exfoliation. 

Great as a monthly add on to other services.

Not recommended for those with active breakouts and moderate to severe acne.

Benefits

Brighter complexion, gentle physical exfoliation, deeper product penetration, smoother makeup application.

​If you have just a handful of spots to treat, this can easily be added to the end of another scheduled service. 

For larger areas please expect a series of treatments to achieve full, smooth, results.

Special considerations

Removing the protective layers of skin and hair, you are more suceptible to being burnt by the sun.  Please be diligent with your sunscreen application in the weeks following your dermaplaning service. 

Please stop the use of your retinol and active ingredients in your skincare products in the 3 days before your scheduled service.

​Skin must not be burnt or compromised in order to safely dermaplane.

I offer consultations to new clients for those who are unsure what their skin needs, or are looking to create a custom experience. Schedule a 30 minute consult with me to assess your skin, discuss your concerns and goals for treatment, and medical/ health history, if you are looking to schedule an initial meeting but you aren't quite ready to jump into a service.


I recommend all first time clients start with the First Time Experience service.

I will consult with you to identify your skin concerns and goals, followed by a 60 minute facial service.
I like to consult all new clients to understand how I can give you the best service possible. Expect this appointment to take about 90 minutes in total!

A Skin Analyzer session can be added to both the First Time Experience or my Consultation booking to give you an in-depth skin report and analysis of your skin's health, including pictures and product recommendations.
